DirectorsMinisters Rose Nelson (Bio) Email: Children's Ministry When:The Directors of Children's Ministry work with the children of the church at least once on Sunday and may during the week, and work with the Youth leader and a minimum of once a month with the Senior Pastor. Why:Do fun things while focusing on the gospel. Children are looking for an outlet. They are also in search of belonging and acceptance. They are confronted by peer pressure, and low self-esteem, and the plan of Satan is to destroy them before they begin. Keep in mind the children are the apple of God's eye. How:The Children's Ministry Director must have a calling for the children. The director must be able to create a climate of openness, as well as be open to responses that may challenge him or her without becoming confrontational. The Children's Director must create an environment of trust, they must also have private devotional time with the Lord. The Children's Director in their walk with God creates an atmosphere that the children of the church want to emulate as they grow in Christ. Qualifications:
