Where:At the church for large events, somewhere outside the confines of the church to remove walls and barriers. The Men's Ministry must be involved in doing some type of outreach. Why:Men, unlike women, have barriers and walls that are harder to break. Their need for outlets differ than the way one would approach a woman. Some men are not able to reach out to other men without being challenged (testosterone or machismo). Every area of the body needs a light of hope. Men feel better about themselves when they can see an achievable goal. Our goal at LWMI is to provide a place of acceptance for men. How: |
