Usher Ministry

Latest News!

Prayer

We also ask that you continue to lift up in prayer Brother Feliciano, Brother  De Larenta Prince-Brannon and Desiree Diaz while they are overseas.

Biblical Profession

This is my Bible. It is the word of God. I am what it says I am; I can do what it says I can do; I will be what it says I can be. I am above and not beneath; I am the head and not the tail. My life has been changed by His word and I will never be the same! No, never, never, never be the same in Jesus name. Amen!

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:28 [KJV]

God has set the ministry of helps into the Church. If we are helping anyone in the church or assisting the weak and needy, we are operating in the ministry of helps. The Usher Ministry at LWMI falls into the helps ministry. 1 Corinthians 12:28 reveals:

  • The usher ministry is ordained and anointed by God.
  • You have been divinely set in the Church for a purpose.
  • Ushering, through the ministry of helps, is a supernatural ministry.

    When:

At least once a week meet, with those that have agreed to be apart of the users and or greeters, and at a minimum of once a month with the Senior Pastor.

    Primary Duties:

    • Assist our Pastor by helping him bring the vision for the local church to fulfillment
    • God's public relations man, representing LWMI, meeting and greeting every new visitor.
    • Maintain order and orchestrate movement during the service and prayer ministry lines. Let all things be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthinans 14:40

    How:

The LWMI Usher Ministry begins their weekly service by praying together as a team, asking the Lord for guidance and wisdom. It is our heart’s desire to bring every usher to a higher level of excellence therefore we meet monthly for continued education and further training into the ministry. The Usher Ministry, through the power of oneness and unity, will assist to bring forth the vision our God has brought forth at LWMI. As a growing church, we will work in conjunction with Hospitality, Greeters and Security in order to accomplish the work the Lord has set before us.

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost Acts 6:3-5.
